There are a few things that you should know prior to your appointment that will best set you up for success.

The consultation will take roughly an hours time.  Ensure you’ve set aside any distractions and can dedicate a full hour of your time to the consultation.  When your Home Advisor Agent arrives, they’ll perform a basic walkthrough of your home.  Don’t worry, they’re not judging! They’re just trying to get a feel for your house and its major components. They’re looking at items like the roof, furnace and water heater, and the home’s overall finishes and condition.

Next is when the real fun begins.  Your agent is going to sit down with you, and teach you about pricing your home correctly.  They’ll educate you on current market trends, comparable homes that have sold in your neighborhood, and all about location, condition, and price.  If you price your home correctly, the market is always hot.

Lastly you’ll go on a second walkthrough of your home with your agent. Expect your agent to teach you about staging your home for photos, storing unneeded items, and getting home best prepared to be active on the market.

At the end of your consultation you should feel confident about your list price, have all your questions about TRELORA answered, and be armed with the knowledge necessary to make an intelligent and informed decision about listing your home for sale.
