Q & A with Sophia Cocas

What does it mean to you to be a part of TRELORA?

Working for an organization that is fair and equitable is very important to me and TRELORA is just that.

What do you like about working at TRELORA?

I love that TRELORA values teamwork and shared responsibility. While there are defined roles, there is an expectation that we all represent one vision and we will all uphold the values of TRELORA.

How do you try to leave people better?

I love reaching out to perfect strangers and talking about TRELORA, not because I want to sell them on anything, I genuinely want them to know that they do have a friend in real estate whether they are buying or selling a home.

Tell us about your best TRELORA experience

While every buyer closing is a wonderful experience, I definitely appreciated going with our entire team to the Rockies game!

Tell us about a work-related challenge you have overcome

I came into TRELORA very new to the real estate industry, however, I dug in and have become proficient in my administrative duties.

If you weren't revolutionizing the real estate industry, what would you be doing?

My thesis and life goal is to ensure that housing is no longer the number one need for disadvantaged communities. I will always strive to revolutionize the real estate industry.

Pets? Family? Hobbies?

I have three young kids, a puppy, and an ant farm that is struggling. I am an artist and dancer, I enjoy long walks in the rain, cooking, and football. I'm am a forever student, with a short term goal of completing my real estate licensing, and a long term goal of completing my Ph.D.

Next time you save $12k (or more) on your personal real estate transaction, how will you spend your dough?

I would pour it back into my own home. I'm personally frightened to move the toilets in the bathroom in order to re-do the flooring, so $12k would really help me figure that out!

Describe your dream home.

My dream home would be a SE facing corner lot, 3 story detached, with a 3 car garage (one for a project 61' Camero). It would have 4 bedrooms, an office space, a craft room and a large kitchen without an island because I like to hold dance parties with my children while I cook.

As a parent, I don't get out much but Sonic has a great slushy happy hour, watermelon is the only way to go!
